Private
Training

The adult curriculum delivered directly by Shifu Willis, at your pace and on your schedule.

Who takes privates

Hard schedulesShift work, irregular hours, or anything that makes a fixed Thursday and Friday impossible.
Faster progressUndivided correction moves you considerably quicker than group pace allows.
A specific concernSomething particular you would rather work through without an audience. That is a legitimate reason and it is treated as one.
Catching upReturning after a break, or joining mid-way and wanting to close the gap before rejoining the group.

What is different

The material is the same as the adult program — the same structure, centerline and chi sau work. What changes is that every correction lands on you, and the pace is set by what you actually need rather than by the room.

For an art that runs entirely on feel, that matters more than it would in most styles. A hand placed correctly by an instructor teaches faster than an hour of guessing.

Group class
Shifu

Attention divides. It is still real instruction, and the group has its own value — you learn from the people around you and from watching corrections land on someone else.

Every correction lands on you. For an art that runs entirely on feel, that is the difference between being told what your structure should do and having it put right by hand.
